Death Angel has announced its annual Christmas show, with two updates this year that fans who enjoy this annual tradition along with the band will want to know.

The 10th Annual Another Death Angel Xmas Show has become a cherished heavy metal holiday tradition in the San Francisco Bay Area. Inspired by Christmas shows the Beatles used to play apparently, Death Angel always plays a unique setlist at the Christmas shows. A Beatles cover is always played during the encore, plus occasional punk rock covers, typically along with some deep tracks from Death Angel’s catalog.

For the 2025 Christmas show, Death Angel will be playing Act III in its entirety, in honor of its 35th Anniversary. For more on Act III, check out Bleeding Priest’s Bay Area Metal Spotlight on that album (coming soon).

The single show, instead of a Friday and Saturday night pair of shows like in the past, should make it a wild night for Bay Area Thrash fans. And moving to a larger venue like the Fillmore (in the past it was at the Great American Music Hall, and before the pandemic, Slim’s) should be a good time as well. Don’t miss it!
