Doomsday, a Crossover Thrash band from Oakland, CA, is releasing their newest album, “Never Know Peace” March 28, 2025 on Creator-Destructor Records,
Drawing influences from bands like Slayer, Iron Age, Sepultura & Power Trip, the band has three (3!) guitarists. Formed in 2018, they have shared the stage with bands like Gulch, Ripped To Shreds, Municipal Waste, Creeping Death, Omerta, Speed, Dead Heat, Spinebreaker, Earth Down, and more.
Doomsday is new to me, but the three tracks currently live on Bandcamp are solid crossover fury. I’m looking forward to checking out their record release show at Neck of the Woods here in San Francisco, on April 13, 2025 (and finding out how a hardcore / crossover band makes use of that third guitar!)
